Hello, this is Sarah. I’ve been inendated by passive aggressive racism since I was 16. I bore a mixed child in 1987.I was looked down upon as “white trash”, even though I come from a highly educated family. I was raised in a “gray area” family, except for my Dad. I’ve heard the crazy things that white people say when they feel “safe”. I never accepted any “type” of racism ever. It hurts me to the core to watch my son go through his challenges, but his adoptive father and I are proud. I, in particular, am thrilled at his kindness, compassion, integrity and intellect. I love him beyond words. There is no gray area. There is no “tolerance”. (I am intolerant to that word).
This wonderful Austin Foudy that you speak of, truly is wonderful.
Thank you for your time,
Sarah Haines Graham, Austin Foudy’s Mom.
