In the book and the discussion, there is a particular focus on historic events for indigenous and enslaved people in Mississippi, Minnesota, and Oklahoma. Together, they discuss the lasting impact of the white supremacy problem in America today and the steps we can take to work toward righting the wrongs of the past.
